Outline two ways in which privatisation may affect education.

What is expected?
Outline means students should identify a relevant effect of privatisation and add enough explanation to show how education is affected. With 4 marks, two short, clearly developed points are sufficient, there is no need for evaluation or a conclusion.
Award 2 marks for each appropriate way clearly outlined, or 1 mark for each appropriate way partially outlined. This follows the format used for published 4-mark Education questions.
Indicative content
Answers may include:
Greater involvement of private companies in education (1 mark); businesses may provide services, resources, assessment or curriculum materials that were previously provided by the state or schools themselves (+1 mark).
